Coral World Ocean Park: 1 Mile

One of St. Thomas' greatest attractions, Coral World has long been a favorite among visitors and residents. Red Hook: 2 Miles

Located on the east end of St. Thomas, Red Hook is a quaint center of activity overlooking Pillsbury Sound and the island of St. John. Red Hook is more relaxed than other tourist destinations and is perfect for a USVI family vacation with the benefit of an array of boating, water sports activities, dining, and nightlife (home to Duffy's Love Shack).

Mahogany Run Golf Course: 2 Miles

Golfing in St. Thomas is a favorite activity of many of our guests. The course, designed by George and Tom Fazio, offers 18 challenging holes culminating in the spectacular "Devil's Triangle," the most world-renowned signature holes on the Atlantic Ocean. The Butterfly Farm: 4 Miles

St. Thomas Skyride: 6 Miles

Carrying 24 passengers every seven minutes along its 8-tower ascent of Flag Hill, St. Thomas Skyride whisks visitors up to 700 feet above the town of Charlotte Amalie for some of the most dramatic views of the Caribbean beaches of St. Thomas. Once at the pinnacle, guests can enjoy shopping and dining, watch a bird show, hike a nature trail, or hop on the Sky Jump trampoline. Don't forget to try the famous Baileys Bushwacker!

St. Peter Greathouse & Botanical Gardens: 6 Miles

Nestled high in the volcanic peaks overlooking the beaches of St. Thomas, this site was originally part of the 150-acre Plantation St. Peter. Today, the Greathouse displays examples of West Indian architecture and furniture. The lush Botanical Gardens and nature trail feature streaming waterfalls, tropical bird aviaries, fish ponds, more than 20 varieties of orchids, and 150 species of Caribbean plants and fruits – a great site to see on your USVI family vacation.

Charlotte Amalie: 6 Miles

Capital of the US Virgin Islands, this charming and gracious town was named in 1692 for the Queen of Denmark. World famous for being the Caribbean capital of duty-free shopping, Charlotte Amalie's main streets are lined with historic Danish buildings restored to house the Caribbean's best merchants. History and culture aficionados can visit historic Ft. Christian, the birthplace of artist Camille Pissaro, the second oldest synagogue in the western hemisphere, and numerous art galleries 

Beaches on St. Thomas

St. Thomas boasts over 20 spectacular white-sand beaches. Some of the favorite beaches of St. Thomas include heart-shaped Magen's Bay (3 miles from Sugar Bay), Morningstar (3 miles from Sugar Bay), Lindbergh (5 miles from Sugar Bay) and Coki (1 mile from Sugar Bay).

The crystal clear waters encircling the island offer a myriad of water sports fun such as snorkeling, boating, windsurfing, and sailing. Scuba diving is one of the most popular activities on the island, tempting both professional and amateur scuba divers with more than 30 famous dive sites. Sport fishermen also head here because of the record catches made on local beaches.
